Germany
Leverkusen
Project description
With a self-sufficient energy system and more than 500 installed ground sensors, the parking spaces in the region around Leverkusen are digitally recorded and managed. The smart solution is revolutionizing commuter parking in the region by providing real-time information on available parking spaces.
Installation
The data transmission and processing of the ground sensors, for precise determination of parking space availability, is powered by SCF installed solar panels. The data is processed in real time on site to ensure fast and reliable detection of parking space availability. Cybersecurity is a top priority for SCF. State-of-the-art security mechanisms are used to protect the collected data and ensure user privacy. Optimized parking space usage contributes to the reduction of traffic congestion, air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
