Duisburg/Stadtpark
Project description
The city of Duisburg has taken the first steps towards a safe environment with the help of several noise pattern sensors. These detect aggressive behavior patterns and glass breakage in the city park and transmit them directly to the public order office in real time.
Further down the line, the detections can also be linked to light control or other actuators such as loudspeakers, thus making a valuable contribution to security.
Installation
SMART.audio detects aggressive behaviour (based on voice patterns), glass breakage (e.g. of window panes) and bullet shot. If one of the parameters is detected, a notification is sent in real time by e-mail or SMS to a stored address. In this way, the employees of the public order office can quickly check up on things on site in the future and control the deployment of staff more efficiently. The city displays the data directly in its own system, i.e. it uses the API interface to retrieve the data.
