In 2023, the new education and sports campus in Bürstadt opened with an intelligent lighting system from SCF that contributes to greater sustainability.
Installation
65 intelligent lights have been installed on the new sports grounds. With the help of an app from the city, it is possible to be tracked via Bluetooth while training on the running track and view your training values. In combination with the app, the lights also provide a so-called tracking light. The luminosity of the lights changes depending on the person's position.

After the trial phase, the digital infrastructure has now been extended to other streets in the city in Q3 2020.
Installation
In front of the town hall and in the access road to the railway station, luminaires and multifunctional stelae with integrated iceMEC will be installed. As a special feature, up to 8 luminaires installed in the column can be individually controlled by our hardware! Further HOTSPOTs were installed to provide the population with free WLAN. An air quality sensor and the Bluetooth-based SMART.flow service are also used.
Project description
The complete redesign of the station district at the beginning of 2019 prompted the city administration to install a parking monitoring system.
Installation
More than 50 parking spaces were equipped with ground sensors to record occupancy. At the request of the city, a camera was installed for double-redundant monitoring of the occupancy status. The required infrastructure for data communication is provided by the newly installed luminaires from Selux at Bahnhofsplatz, which thanks to cooperation are supplied with factory-installed Edge Computern and controlled with SMART.lighting . In addition, hotspots were installed in the luminaires to provide free WLAN to the citizens. SMART.flowand SMART.traffic aktiviert.
